Prime Venture Partners (originally AngelPrime, rebranded 2015) is a Bengaluru-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2012 by Sanjay Swamy, Shripati Acharya, and Amit Somani — serial entrepreneurs with strong Silicon Valley relationships. The firm is almost always the first institutional investor in a startup and deliberately keeps its portfolio small (backing only 3-5 new companies a year) to allow deep, hands-on involvement with each founder.
